/ Friday, January 11, 2013 /

Get Paid To Do Free Offers! If you are looking for GPT (get paid to) websites then I suggest joining CashCrate. This site provides legitimate ways to earn money, from surveys to completing offers.

Finding a "get paid to" websites is a challenge because there are a lot of scam sites out there and is a waste of time, but CashCrate is a trusted website and it has a good reputation for paying people when its pay out time.

To earn a profit on CashCrate you need to complete free paid online surveys, games, shop, and earn more points for prizes.

If you are already a member or just planning to join, I have here tips to get you started and earn money fast. There is absolutely NO COST to make money on CashCrate, so your money is safe.

Here are my tips on how to earn money on CashCrate: Tips and Tricks.

Create a new email account for cash offers

If you are using GPT websites, you should always use a different email accounts. Mainly because you will be asked to complete surveys in which requires email address.

The email you enter when joining these kinds of sites will receive spam emails, so the alternative way to avoid this, is to create a new one or just separate it from your main account. Another reason is, they already have your information, and therefore, do not want to pay you for the same information.

But if you are completing daily surveys, use the same email account that you are using to sign in.

Download roboform free software

Completing offers is one of the ways to earn money on CashCrate. For me it is kinda boring because you keep on repeating, inputting data s and email address and it is also time consuming. If you want to speed up your earning you should download RoboForm which is free. Roboform is an automated form-filling software that is recommended for CashCrate and any other GPT site.

Download RoboForm

Enable cookies on your computer

If you are using a browser like Mozilla Fire fox you should enable cookies on your computer. Every time you fill out a form or completed a survey, leaves a cookie on your computer and it is required so that you can receive credit for your actions. If it is disabled, advertisers can't leave a cookie on your computer and you will not get paid for your efforts.

Clear cookies after receiving credits

A cookie is left on your computer after you completed an offer. If you are actively using CashCrate to earn money, will be taking a lot of offers from the same advertisers and you need to delete those cookies after you receive credits to keep on receiving offers from that advertiser. Use CCleaner to delete those cookies fast.

Download CCleaner

Enter valid contact details

This is very important, enter your valid name, email, and sometimes phone number into offer forms. If you put in fake details you will not get paid or sometimes get banned and loose earnings.

There are a lot of bloggers around the world trying their luck to be successful online. Based on stats, there are almost 3 millions articles being posted everyday, 500, 000 + of them are from professional bloggers trying to transition their audience from reading to buying.

The main reason why a lot of bloggers is not earning enough money is because of one important factor, NO ONE LISTENS.

Your audience is your key to success

Every blogging decision you make will decide the outcome of your blogs traffic or the number of audience. Keep in mind that you are blogging to help them, with that you gain reputation, and if your audience trusts you, they will purchase anything you endorse them.

Attract your desired audience

The most simple way to attract your profitable audience is to show your expertise, your experience and great results. Help your readers and see their results, if it turned out to be good, they will refer you to their network of people. Carrying yourself as an expert will help build confidence to your readers.

Hang out with them. Find the place where they usually get together, and try guest posting or leave though-provoking comments, in that way they will notice you. Ask questions on what your audience problems, then make a unique post about it or even write an E-book.

At first they will not come to you. Why should they? Prove yourself first and be aggressive. Show up and deliver consistently.

Once they come to your blog, never disappoint them. Keep on writing those unique contents they desire until they beg to do business with you. If you do this correctly, expect a lot of subscriptions and marketing sales.

Your blogs ugly design will not make you money

Although content is the most important in blogging, its design also plays a big role to attract readers. Its difficult to get your readers interested on your content if you have a bad looking design. If you want to make a good relationship with your audience, you should practice good grooming on your blog sites.

Fist time visitors usually notices your blogs design first, if they find it appealing they will stick around and will come back for more, if it is ugly they will close it immediately without browsing your content.

The good thing about this is publishers and advertisers are working directly, buyads.com will not charge the advertiser a single penny unless the publisher approves it request. It also gives transparency which is cool because you know where your money goes.

Building a website is not that expensive, in fact it is cheaper than hiring some support call center agents.

Here are the advantages of having a website for your business

1. Saves money

Compared to other marketing strategy like posting on magazines or in the newspaper, a website is cheaper to make. You will probably spend about $100 depending on the design. A website has unlimited marketing potential, combining it with blogs will help to increase your audience and customers.

2. Improves customer service

Customers are mostly searching and shopping online these days, if you don't have a professionally made website your customers might go to your competitors which have a website. Customers want to know more about the product and the company before purchasing, by putting a FAQ on your site it will improve customer service because all of their questions can already be answered on your site. Product info's, about the company, all of the information can be put to one on a website, this will save time answering emails and calls.

Most entrepreneurs don't have a website, their business only survives in friends and customers referrals. By having a website for your small business it will gain audience, not only locally but also internationally. You should advertise your brand online because it is cheaper compared to advertising on TV.

Compared to phone support, a website is accessible 24/7. A customer no longer needs to dial those long telephone numbers all they need to do is use the internet and type in your website's business URL.

More advantages of having a website

  • It easier to network with other products related to your service. E- marketing improves are more people are online everyday.

Business owners offers commissions to website owners to publish or advertise their products or service for sale. In other words, bloggers help advertisers sell their products to its readers.

Tips to make your blog affiliate marketing ready

1. Make your template ads ready

First thing you need to do is to have a blog template ready for advertising. There are a lot of free blog templates out there you can choose. A good template for ads is very important, because it creates an impact on the products you sell, place them perfectly and they will be easily noticed. Always save some space for your ads.

2. Write contents related to your product

This is one of the most important thing to remember when you are into affiliate marketing. Your contents should match with your ads. Example, if you are blogging on how to get fit, you should put ads related to fitness and loosing weight, so that you will have a higher chance of selling that product from your audience.

3. Choose only a handful of great products

A lot of publishers didn't make money through affiliate marketing is because they are promoting and trying to sell too many products. You only need to promote a handful of products and remember that it should align correctly with the topic of your site.

4. Create personal reviews

If you are a blogger with high credibility, writing personal reviews on the product you are selling is a great way to get that extra commissions. Most successful bloggers do that, they review a product to be endorsed to their readers. Be sure to be honest because your credibility is on the line. But limit yourself from too much reviews, only mention it when it is relevant to the conversation and then provide it with links. Your goal as a blogger is to entertain and give useful information to your readers not to strictly sell products or else you will loose readers.

5. Do a research on the demand of the product

If you are going to sell, make sure it sells. If its demand is very low chances are that you cannot sell that product no matter how hard you try. Do a survey on what you're readers likes, create a poll on your website to get a hint on what product or service they want.

6. Stay current and up to date

Affiliate marketing is very competitive and that is why you need to be consistently up to date about your topic and the products you are endorsing. You need to be updated on the latest techniques or else you will be left behind.

7. Choose the right merchant

Promoting a product is also promoting the company and the person behind it. Do your homework, check if the merchant has a good track record. Your credibility is on the line, you give advice to people to buy that product, if they are very unhappy with the product they purchase they probably won't come back for more and you will loose readers. Just make sure you are endorsing a product or service that will satisfy their needs.

8. Track your affiliate marketing campaign

You need to use different product promotion for your campaign, in that way you will know what works and what doesn't. Changing your strategy here and there can dramatically increase your profit. Try changing or experimenting with your ad banners, monitor the behavior of your readers and check where the ads are visible or where it blends perfectly with your website. Most affiliate programs gives you basic statistics on your campaign, so use it.

If you keep this in mind, you will earn a lot of money and not loose a single readers instead they will refer your service and you will increase more visitors and potential customers. A structured plan is always need to become successful in affiliate marketing.

5 Common Adsense Myths

/ Saturday, December 15, 2012 /

beginners adsense tipsI love being a myth buster especially in blogging, and today our topic is about common Adsense myths that bloggers should know. Here, I will explain the myths that confused some blogger about making money with Adsense.

I remember 2 years ago when I was browsing on the Internet on how to get your account approved by Adsense, Instead of finding the right article, I keep seeing these testimonials on making money with Adsense. The hype inspires me to work on applying to make money on Adsense, but after my account was approved, I was kinda disappointed because it is not as easy as it looks. If you want to make money with Adsense you need a lot of work to do. So here are common Adsense myths every blogger must know.

Myth #1. Adsense can make you rich quick

As I have stated in the past, there is no such thing as easy money, and Adsense will not make you a millionaire in an instant. The truth is, there is only a small percentage of bloggers that actually make money from their blog site. It is definitely possible to make some money from Google Adsense Ad units but bear in mind that making money from your blog is commensurate with many factors such as types of advertising, placement of advertising, quality of your content, regular posting, number of articles, SEO, backlinks to your site, number of visitors to your blog to name just a few. You must be consistent on posting your articles on a daily basis. Earning potentials can be based on the number of traffics, the more you have visitors the more chances you make money with Adsense.

Myth #2. Putting more ads the more you earn money

This is false. Most bloggers believe that putting a lot of ads will have a higher chance of earning but the truth is, it might reduce your change of earning. There is a risk that the highest performing Ad units will shift to positions that are less frequently clicked on. If you put on a lot of ads on your site, a savvy visitor will instantly recognize an ad space and will try avoiding it.

Myth #3. Placement of Google Adsense doesn't matter

Actually it does. The placement of ads is very critical if you want to earn more revenue. If you wrongly place an ads, chances are it will not be seen by visitors and will have a lower chance being clicked, but placing it or covering your site with ads will not also earn you more revenue because a visitor did not came into your site to click on your ads. There are ways to put on your ads to make it look professional or blend it on your template, one of the most effective is putting it on the top fold so that visitors can easily see your ads without bothering your visitors while they read .

Myth#4. More traffic means higher earnings

Not exactly, It depends on your blog content. Lets say you blog about poems, you get a lot of comments and visitors, but your adsense revenue is not growing, probably the reason is that niche is not friendly to advertisers. If you are blogging just about anything under the sun, chances of earning a lot from Adsense is very low. You must be specific about a certain topic and it must be a profitable topic.

Myth #5. Google Adsense is the best way to make money

Not necessarily. It is true that Adsense can make you rich, but not every blogger earn a lot from it. Based on facts there are 95% of bloggers making money with Adsense earns just under $30 in one year. Darren Rose of problogger.net, says that he makes a lot of bucks from Adsense, but he made more money with affiliate marketing and currently stopped using Adsense. Most pro bloggers recommends Adsense as the option to make money for beginners, but when you become experienced, blending it with affiliate marketing and other ways to make money will surely skyrocket your income. Chitika and Amazon Affiliates are some alternative ways to make money be sure to check them out.

5 Things worth spending your money

/ Saturday, November 24, 2012 /

Today I will not teach about blogging or SEO what I am going to share with you are things that are worth spending your money. Since this blog involves topics on making money, I am now going to share how to spend it wisely because money is meant to be spent not to be kept.

Here are the things worth spending your money

1. Your Home.

This is the place we live, eat and take care of our family. Our home deserves a budget for its repairs and improvements. You don't need to buy those new sofas or the latest flat screen TV, a simple re paint and redecoration of your home will do.

2. Your Car.

I don't have a Car yet, but believe me you will need money to take care of it. I remember when I was small we have this old Mitsubishi galant, it was cool when Dad first bought it but after a few years it got uglier and uglier because my father didn't spend a lot on Car repairs and maintenance until he got tired of the Car and sell it to the junk shop.

There are a lot of benefits on why you spend on your car, one of those is safety, changing your tire occasionally will prevent future accidents. Another important thing is Car insurance. So, if you are planning to buy a Car you should consider a budget for its maintenance.

Cars are like women and relationships, you got to spend for it to work, hehehe

3. Everyday Items.

In our home my everyday items are usually knives and cooking pans because I love to cook and eat but hated washing dishes. Whenever I see a new razor sharp knife on home shopping network I usually bough one, because cheap knifes break and not sharp enough which costs me time preparing food.

Spend on everyday items that are a bit expensive but has a good quality and will last for many years to come.

4. Travel and experience.

Go out to the beach with the whole family once in a month or if you have the right budget go to Disneyland or some theme parks because these experience are material things cannot replace. Experience is very important because its memories lasts forever. A romantic date for your partner is also worth spending. But you don't need to go to expensive places, there is always a cheaper way for everything.

5. You and your Family.

Before you take care of your family you should learn how to love and take care for yourself. Spending on something that will make you feel good will definitely help to have a healthy and happy lifestyle. These are some of the things you need for you and your family.

  • Health budget
  • Education
  • Allowance
  • Personal Stuff
  • Insurance

Alright! these are my 5 things worth spending your money with, I hope you liked it. How about you, do you have your own lists?

How to Choose a profitable blog niche | Most Profitable Topic

/ Thursday, November 15, 2012 /

Good day everyone! Today I will share to you a tips on how to choose a profitable blog niche. Since one of the main topic of this blog is making money, then I will guide you all the way to finally getting your first pay check. This topic is for beginners or those who failed making money using their blogs.

One of the first step in making a profitable blog is selecting a niche that could generate revenue. Not every niche topic is profitable for example is, life tips blogs, one of the reason it will not generate revenue is because there are no advertisements about  that said topic. Adsense will have a hard time giving you ads to display.

If you want to succeed you should keep in mind of your Interest, hobby and expertise as well as popularity, competition and profitability of that topic when choosing a topic area.

Here are my tips on how to choose a profitable blog niche

1. Make a blog out of your hobby or interest. Do you like designing your own clothes? then share and make a blog about it, who knows someone might just discover you. The important thing is you have fun doing it. For start ups, money is not the main reason why you blog.

2. Topic area must be huge. Choosing a niche should not only be of your interest, but also has the potential to attract a huge amount of visitors. Don't blog about yourself, because it will not generate income. You also need to select a topic where you can create a lot of articles so that readers will be coming back everyday looking for something new.

3. Search volume must be high. If you have selected a niche where only a hundred people search it every month, then don't do it, you will not make a profit out of it.

I have here the 10 most profitable niche of 2012
  • Health and Fitness. There is not doubt that these niche could generate millions of dollars. According to a finance book, anti aging and the health industry is the next trillion dollars!
  • Insurance. This is the 2nd most profitable blog niche. Topics include life insurance, automobile, health insurance, etc.
  • Internet, web hosting. There is no doubt that this niche could generate income. This blog's niche actually belongs to that category. Computer hardware, software reviews, downloads, internet security suites, SEO tools, SEO automation software, Domain name registrations, web hosting, networking tools etc. are the hottest topics here.
  • Banking and finance. This is a very high paid niche. Topics include banking in general, credit cards, loan repayment, debt consolidation, credit management, finance and etc.
  • Legal / Lawyer related. Searches for attorneys and lawyers has increased ad bidding rates related with this topic. Finding lawyers, specialized attorney helps etc. can increase your benefits, from a blog with related content.
  • Automobiles. Use of automobiles are increasing day by day. Blogs intended to help people in finding suitable vehicles, review of vehicles, automobile loans, used vehicle sale etc. is blooming in this niche.
  • Real Estate. Real estate ads attract huge revenues. Topics like building planning, real estate flip sale, rent, lease etc. will earn you a better living.
  • Dating and relationships. Lonely people with cash, makes this niche a hot one. Dating tips, networking on dating etc. can make this niche more effective in drawing huge money. I actually have this kind of blog.
  • Consumer Electronics. This topic has become hot discussion topics for many new entrepreneurs. New gadgets, home appliance reviews, mobile phones etc. form main topics.
  • Antiques and valuables. Not a mainstream topics and hence, chances to succeed are high. Letting people know about, buy, sell and exhibit antiques through your blog can attract huge revenues.
4. It must have advertising potential. It means you should find a sufficient amount of advertisers for that topic. But if you are running a non profitable blog it shouldn't matter.

5.  It is better to take in to consideration about the competition. If competition is low there are much more chances for your blog could be in the top in search results. Top ten in search results means more traffic and therefore more income.

How to Earn Money with Fiverr

how to earn money with fiverr

If you have talent, resource, and skills that is very competitive, then you should try Fiverr.com. This website is for entrepreneurs and freelancers who are willing to sell their service starting at $5.

The website was founded by Israeli internet entrepreneurs Micha Kaufman and Shai Wininger. Fiverr is based on the idea that 9 to 5 is not the obvious work structure for everyone. In a world where working with freelancers, outsourcing projects and working off-site is sought after, people are looking for new ways to achieve financial independence on their own terms.

Today, Fiverr hosts micro-entrepreneurs in more than 200 countries, Fiverr provides a "living marketplace" where people can monetize their skills, talents and resources. Gigs offered on the site range from web design, logo creation and market research, to personal greetings, video animation and personalized gifts.

How to Earn Money with Fiverr

If you're looking how to make money on fiverr then you must realize you are one of many. People are often cautiousness about buying a service they have not bought before. However if someone has bought your service the odds can be much greater of getting another sale from them. You can however increase the odds if you follow these tips.

1. Be polite.
This is very important since polite sellers get good reviews and no one is going to buy your service again if you were less then enchanting. You need to be polite and willing to answer a few questions.

2.Be personalized.
Why would someone buy your same ebook twice? If you can make it personalized to your buyer it might take more time for your gigs but you drastically increase the odds getting more money from your customers.

3.Reviews.
Reviews are everything no one wants to be the first to buy your service since they are taking a risk on the quality however if you do something to get your first customers to write good reviews you'll get some more business so what i do sometimes if offer another mini service included for the first 5 buyers to entice customers. Also they are often grateful enough to right a good review.

Fiverr Mistakes That You Shouldn't Do

  1. They go after the same niche as everyone else how many gigs are there for seo and for making video testimonials If you’re going to approach the same niche as everyone else you’ll have to make it your own and unique.
  2. Not personalizing what you give buyers. Many people often use a template to quickly get gigs done. The problem with this is they often get no repeat customers and rarely positive reviews.
  3. Not offering multiple services putting all your eggs in one basket can often led to poor sales.
  4. Poorly written descriptions. Descriptions are how a buyer chooses what service to get so if your description is full of spelling errors and you are offering to write for them do you think they’ll take it?
  5. Not taking advantage of tags. Tags are how people interested in your service find it. So by not using enough or choosing poor ones you are hurting how many people who might buy your service are seeing it
  6. Poor image choices your picture should have everything you are trying to display visible in its thumbnail form. Your thumbnail should never carry a long description of you service or make it seem like you are offering a different service.
  7. Lies you should never lie about the services you are offering and this includes exaggerating greatly. Once people who about your service poorly review it then the likelihood of someone buying it greatly decreases.
  8. Giving up early. Many people post three gigs wait two days and then give up the site forever. It will take time before you start getting tons and tons orders be patient it will be worth it.
  9. One fiverr tip I wish people would take is be willing to talk to the customer. Talk to them step by step to ensure they are getting what they want so you don’t have to redo everything or give them a poorly done job version of what they want.
  10. Make your job something worth it for you. Sure if you offer to write a book for your customer you would get tons of orders but remember you are only getting paid 4 dollars (fiverr takes one dollar).

10 Online Marketing Myths You Should Know

/ Monday, October 29, 2012 /

10 online marketing mythsYou probably have read it or seen on the Internet people making big bucks online. They are earning huge amount of money compared to regular jobs. And that is probably one of the main reason a lot of people are into Online Marketing.

Thousands of people everyday are trying to make money online, but most of them failed miserably  because they know little or none about online marketing.

The talks about becoming a millionaire at home is very promising, in which I will admit is one of the reasons I was attracted to enter Internet Marketing, because I wanted to get rich quick. But I was wrong, I did a lot of mistakes, got scammed, wasted my time a lot. On the brighter side it was a learning experience and maybe a blessing in disguise. My past failures will be my weapon to avoid future mistakes.

Even though it was just an accident that lead me here, I learned how to love this kind of hobby. And now it makes money, still small but it doesn't matter, having fun is my main reasons of doing it.

Now, I will share you my 10 online marketing myths.

Myth#1. Online marketing is EASY.

This is the biggest myth of all. Most of my past article I always stated and repeated that this is not easy. Becoming successful online takes a lot of hard work, patience, strategic thinking, commitment and a bit of luck.

Myth#2. Anyone can make money online.

This is absolutely untrue! This is not for everyone, lazy people are not allowed in here. If you hate reading, this is not for you, if you don't want to learn everyday then don't do it.

Myth#3. Doing online marketing is free.

There are many freebies on the Internet which will help you get started. The freebies could be free blogging service, free SEO optimization  free templates etc. But serious online marketers spend a lot of money on advertisements, SEO service, site domain, blog templates, and more. You will also spend money on Internet connection and electricity.

Myth#4. You can "GET RICH QUICK" on the Internet.

There is no such thing as getting rich quick. These kind of marketing strategies are often used by scam sites, don't fall for it.
"Nothing beats hard work and manual labor"- God (Morgan Freeman) in Bruce Almighty

Myth#5. Working online is expensive.

The truth is, its the other way around. If you want to enter online marketing there are a lot of free stuff and resources you can get on the net You can also look for free seminars online. The only investment you need is time, and a lot of effort.

Myth#6. Its TOO LATE to start an online business.

I was like that before, and said to myself " its too late now, I should have done this 10 years ago, too many competitions, the Internet changes all the time, I should have this and that, etc..."

The truth is, it is never too late to start a business on the Internet. Based on statistics more and more people are into online shopping, and also more and more people are into online services. Why worry about competitions, the Internet is for everyone. If you are persistent to succeed, I am sure you will find ways to beat your competitors.

Myth#7. You will have a LOT of time working at home.

I believe in this 3 years ago, but it is actually a not true!. Doing an online business is hard work, even you are at the comfort of your own home, you will still have a hard time doing other stuff like watching TV. Unless if you are not that serious, I guess you have a lot of time.

In my situation I spend about 5- 8 hours a day on the Internet. Most of the time were spent reading, learning, and brainstorming, the other is for writing.

Myth# 8. Having a professional design is not important.

The truth is, design is very important. If you are serious about creating a brand name, you should put a professionals touch on your website. Ugly looking sites cannot attract potential customers, a sites design is what he see first if it is interesting or not.

Myth# 9. Saturated niches are no longer profitable.

This is only true if you do not know what you are doing.

Lets put it this way, why is a lot of people are still into the fast food industry where it is already saturated by big fast food chains? why do you compete even if you know that field is already saturated?

The main reason is probably, because it is STILL profitable!. Even you know you are competing against big and established brands, you know that you could still make a profit out of it. A good business man sees competition as spark to improve its service.

Myth#10. If you build it, they will come.

Do you know if you build a website, and don't tell anyone about it? Nothing will happen. But If you do something, something will happen.

Promoting and letting people know you exist online is very important in online marketing. That is why we need to learn how to use social networking sites and SEO for you to be visible on the Internet.

Another effective way is through paid advertising, yes it costs money, because if you are really serious about it, then spend time and money because it is STILL business.

Earn Money with oDesk- How to get your first job

odesk for beginners

I think it was April of this year that a friend talked to me about a job online, he refers to me at oDesk.com. At first I was excited, because there a lot of job offer online, I said to myself " these jobs seems easy, I can do it!". After applying for different jobs like typing and writing, none seems to be interested in me. I reapplied again and again, but no luck.

I think I am qualified for most jobs, but what did I do wrong?

Lately I learned that most companies are looking for experienced and reputed freelancers. They want veterans with at least 100 oDesk hours.

So unfair, what about those new contractors. How can we get our first job?

At first I though it was easy getting a job in there. But before you get hired, you need to show your skills, talents, the commitment to work, because it is a competition out there. It is like American Idol, you show people you can sing, then judges will give you a feedback and the American people will decide who gets the title or who goes home.

After writing my previous article, I decided to give oDesk a shot once again, followed all the necessary requirements, and read all the tips. Then, I got an email that they approved my application to become one of their writers! Oh yeah, one point! I got hired for the first time.

If  you are a new freelancer, I got here tips to get your first job at oDesk.
  • Complete your Profile and Make it Interesting. Completing your profile carefully will maybe took you two hours. If you are having trouble how to do it, you can always look at other successful freelancers profile. Just don't try copying their profile details.
  • Take many oDesk skill test as much as possible. If you logged in into your account, you can see a skill test provided, and take as many as you can and make sure you have a high score. A high score on skill tests attracts employers, believe me.
  • Make portfolio samples for every service you offered in your skill or objective section. You should upload screenshots or PDFs of your work example link, name them as your service you focused in. Also please write a short but informative description for each.
  • Do not overcharge. As the new kid on the block you should not overcharge because you haven't proved anything yet about your service. No employers will give you $20 per hour if you are a newbie. For starters, $1 per hour will do, you can increase your talent fee later on, but make sure your price is very reasonable for the job if you're going to increase it.
  • Choose and bid jobs that is best for you. If you don't know a job offer, don't bid for it. Choose jobs that you are good at. Also, do not bid on random jobs because many clients may think that you are not serious with your job application.
  • A blog will help. If you are into writing, then having a blog might help you to get hired. Make sure it is in your profile, show your clients you can write by putting the link of your blog on your profile.
  • Time is gold. For employers it is very important that you can reply to them immediately. If you can check your email anytime then do it. Being quick to response is a plus factor for you to get hired.
  • Always analyze the job description on which you are going to bid. Make sure you fully understood the job you are bidding. Knowing the job description will give you a hint on what are you going to do.
  • Write your cover letter as project requirements. Always, you should read full project description and then make your cover letter as required information for this project. Never write a duplicated or common cover latter which does not describe these jobs instructions but your skill. Clients see what you've written about his project and are you able to understand the job or not.
Experienced and Skilled contractors were once beginners just like you. So don't feel left behind, because everyday, there are a lot of newbies getting their first job and these tips just might help.

If you get hired on oDesk please tell me, and if you are a veteran kindly share me your secrets and I will share it to others who just might need help.

Cheers!

Have a great day!

10 Ways to make money for teens

/ Tuesday, October 9, 2012 /
As a teen we rely money on our parents and usually they only give us just enough for snacks and for playing 1 hour of dota. But with high prices increasing high we need more bucks than just for snacks.

The good news is, there are more ways for teenagers to make money. Aside from the common jobs like working in McDonalds, cutting your neighbors grass, or baby sitting. We now have alternative jobs for teenagers which are will generate more bucks. And maybe who knows, it may be the first step of a potential entrepreneurial career.

Here are my 10 ways for teens to make money.

1. Sell stuff online.

If you have some old stuff like toys or rare trading cards, you can sell them online like ebay or Amazon. For teens to be successful selling online, you need the right strategy. Buy stuff at low cost and you can always sell them higher to earn large profit.

2. Give Lessons.

Are you good in Math, Science or have a hands just like Jimmy Hendrix? then giving tutors and lessons is good for you. Many parents will pay you for your lessons because it costs cheaper than professionals.

3. Design a logo.

I remember when I was a little kid I was very good at designing logos, till I get older I don't  know how to do it anymore. Teenagers are known for their creativity, they love experimenting with colors and creating cool and unique designs. But first they need to know how to use photoshop, it is not hard it is just like learning how to play dota, at first complicated but very easy when you get the hang of it.

These sites will buys professionally designed logo

4. Make money blogging.

This could be hard for some teens but I know a 13 year old who is now a very successful blogger. His site is carlocab.com the kidblogger, read his story it relates to most teenagers today.

Instead of playing online games on facebook or dota, why not blog something that you like and passionate about. Teens has a lot of youthful ideas, and they will have fun designing their website. But in order to make bucks, you will need a lot of hard work and patience. Just make sure you have what is takes to blog. Use Google Adsense as the main way to earn on your blog. It is very effective especially for new bloggers.

5.  Make money with paid to click programs.

PTC or paid to click websites are very easy, your job is to click as much as many ads as you can. Rates depend on different websites. Just be careful, there are a lot of scam sites, that lets you invest some money to increase your rates per click. And if they give you a dollar or more per click, then it must be a scam site.

6. Make money with online surveys.

Surveys are easy, its like taking an exam but it has no wrong or right. If you are interested visit Paid viewpoint, it is a legit site that actually pays who joins and takes their surveys.

7. Make money writing.

Some teenagers faces some problems when they start blogging, one of them is SEO or Search Engine Optimization. Due to lack of SEO they are unable to attract a lot of audience and the main reason why they don't earn money with their blog. But, there are sites that pays for each article you submit, they have high SEO so traffic is not a problem.

Here are some of them
Squidoo.com
Hubpages.com

8. Make money answering questions.

webanswers.com is the most reliable and dedicated place for teenagers to make extra money by answering questions. Teens can select specific question categories and can give desirable answers. If the asker thinks that your answers are perfect enough then you will be paid for answering. Looks pretty simply, requires less hard work and gives perfect results its worth trying.

9. Make money with Twitter.

If you have a ton of followers on twitter but you don't need them anymore, you can try selling them. Check this website, it tells how much worth your twitter account is whatsmytwitteraccountworth.com.

10. Save as much as possible.

When we were teens we have this student allowance, we use it to buy pen, papers or snacks. But once we enter high school, we started to spend it on other not so important things, like we learn how to gamble, drink, smoke, the growing up rituals :-). We sometimes spend them on girls, we love to empress them by buying them flowers taking them on a date.

Just remember, a penny saved is a penny earned. Cut down on unnecessary spending, and you will have more money as a result. It is difficult to make even 10% on any investment, but if you can stock away even 20% of the money you have, you will have a guaranteed 20%. Always pay yourself first.

How to get approved by Adsense effectively

/ Monday, September 17, 2012 /

beginners adsense tipsGoogle adsense is one of the most reliable money making PTC program in the Internet. Bloggers earn money when a visitor clicks on the ads provided by Google. But many publishers have their Google adsense account disabled or banned for some reasons of not following their policy.

In my experience, I was frustrated , Google adsense  denied my application many times, but that didn't stop me. For new bloggers it is a challenge, because Google adsense would not accept blogs that are poorly made. I did have a hard time researching on how to get my account approved, instead I found websites that are too busy on how much money they earn with Adsense, I did't found what I am looking for. So I did some trial and error I even quit for 5 months because of the frustration.

If you want your account to be approved you just have to follow all of their policy and continue resubmitting your application.

Before applying for Google adsense I got some tips based on my experience. As a new blogger I really have a hard time repairing redesigning my blog for it to be adsense ready, here are some of my tips.

Be accurate about you Blog

Before applying, you must think first about a specific niche on you blog so that the ads will be relevant depending on your blog content. Make sure you are on a right path and not messing your blog content or else Google would not recognize your blog niche and ads would have a hard time determining which ads to put on your blog.

If you don't know what niche you like you can search the internet. Just make sure you are good at it so you won't ran out of topic

Design your Blog to be user friendly

Now that you have a blog, you must make things easier for visitors to navigate your blog site. Don't put too much graphics that will confuse readers. You must put enough information about your blog, like what is your blog about, where to contact you. Links must perfectly work for easy navigation. You must have enough sentence on your posts. Do not put short sentences.

Make it look Professional

Just as I said before don't make it messy, make it simple and use light colors. Make sure it is very easy to navigate

Add Gadgets for easy navigation

Gadgets are very useful in blogging, there are many gadgets you can use for your blog to be Adsense ready.
Put a sitemap page on your blog. A site map will reveal all of your blogs content, so readers can see all of your posts.
Also put a "you might also like this" gadget, so readers will see more of your blogs related posts.

Good traffic is also needed

You will also need a lot of visitors per day, make sure you promote your blog. Social Networks and Traffic exchange website will be very helpful.

Just remember, be specific and simple about your blog and adsense will approve your application.

Btw, be specific also with your Address on your Adsense account. I have a case my adsense was dissapproved just because my address wasn't accurate. Just make sure your put a real address or Google will not pay for your service. Also do not put your nickname on you account, use your real name instead.

Once approved just follow their policy, like you only have to put 3 ads on 1 page, don't tamper your adsense code and this is very important DON'T EVER CLICK ON YOUR OWN ADS or Google will terminate your account and you will loose all of your earnings.

If you already have an approved Adsense account you won't need to apply again on your other blogs.

make money online

With todays economy and tough competition,  finding a high paying and stable job is very hard these days. I started thinking, is there another way to earn part time without the risk of getting fired. So I decided to look for jobs on the Internet, and earning money online caught my attention.

What is it? How will I get payed? What skills do I need to earn online?

Out of curiosity I started reading a lot of article related to money making online and started blogging. If you surf on the Internet daily, you would probably heard a lot of stories about people getting rich online, but just like any other job or business, this is not easy as it seems.

Based on my experience as an online entrepreneur, I give you the different ways to earn online.

1. Paid to click.

This is the easiest way to get paid online. Even grandpa can do it. Your job is to click and view a  website for a certain amount of time until it expires, most sites will give you about $0.01- 0.05 which is kinda cheap. But, do it a lot and you won't notice you are earning real money.

Some paid to click sites offer commissions if you refer a friend to their site and signs up. Just imagine if you refer 10, or maybe a 100's of your friends you could go big time on these time of online job. One of the most trusted PTC (paid to click) sites is clixsense.

2. Sell Stuff on eBay.

Got some old stuff you don't need anymore? Why not trade it for cash on Ebay. Selling online is now a multi million business, a lot of people actually becomes rich by selling online. One of the advantage is, you won't need a store to start your online shopping mall.

When it comes to selling secondhand items, eBay is the place to go. If you have old stuffs that are in good condition like toys, electronics, you could start selling and earning on eBay.

Learn How to sell on eBay. Click here

There are two things that make eBay great for earning  money.
  • You are pretty much guaranteed to make some kind of sale and thus experience a transaction.
  • eBay has the traffic, so you don’t have to worry about marketing your product beyond creating a good listing, the eye-balls are already there
EBay has a very high traffic which is good and also bad. Because they have an abundant traffic, competition is high and fierce. You need to find ways to gain more popularity, and attract potential customers. You also need to provide quality service so that satisfied customers can give good feedbacks.

3. Affiliate Marketing.

As a blogger I also tried affiliate marketing. At first it wasn't that effective because I need to have lots of traffic for my blogsite. One the mistakes I did was selling products that are not related to my blog. It maybe bad for first time bloggers, but believe me, it is one of the best ways to earn online. A lot of blogs are into affiliate marketing for high commissions.

The challenge for you to figure out is what market to enter, build an audience and maintain relationship with your readers. Once you have their trust, they will also trust the products you are selling.

4. Data Entry.

Do you know how to type? This kind of job online is simply transcribing a different form of data into another form. For example, a scanned pages of a book or something similar, then typing it into a Microsoft Word format, simple isn't it?

The only real challenge for this, is you got to be a patient typist and very accurate, one mistake could make the whole program go error.

5. Sell Products on your website.

Got a blog or website? Then you might try selling your own stuff online. E- commerce websites is a growing business. One of the advantage of having an e- commerce website is you could sell your products to a wider audience.

If you don't have a website, you could try social networking sites just like facebook. You just have to create a fanpage for your online shop.

6.Paid Surveys.

Just be careful with this one, there are a lot of sites that promises to pay when you do some surveys. But, there are also legits sites that actually pays you when you took their surveys.

Here are some of those legitimate sites, paidviewpoint and cash crate, I will still look for more, I will keep you guys updated.

7. Writing.

This is probably one of the easiest way to earn online. Internet marketers need content to feed their readers and your job is to give them content by writing.

Most webmasters are not into writing, they prefer designing and programming, that is why they sometimes recruit writers to do their writing job. Freelancer.com is great for those who love to write.

8. SEO services.

SEO stands for search engine optimization. This can be achieved by building quality backlinks to a site. Link building is not that hard if you get used to it, but it does require a lot of human power. There a lot of ways building backlings, one of the method is by social bookmarking a site to Facebook, Twiiter, Digg, Reddit, etc. Other ways are submitting it to the web via directories, leaving a comment to other sites also build backlinks.

9. Get hired on Odesk.

If you plan on making a career online, then odesk.com is the answer. This site offers a lot of jobs, from encoding, writing, SEO services, to web designing. You just need to pick the right job that you are good at.

But for first timers it could be hard at getting a job, just keep on applying and make sure you are suited and ready for the job. One of the things I like about Odesk is you dictate your service fee. but of course you must give a nice impression to your employer before getting the job.

11. Service you provide personally.

There are other services you could provide online, an example is online English tutorial, you just need a fast internet connection and a computer. Other methods is a home-based call center.

The good thing about this job is you work at home, no more traffics, corporate suits, stressful deadlines, you tell when to work or not. But it takes a high amount of discipline and patience to be successful on these kind of jobs.

12. Sell pictures.

Got a digital camera, and an eye of an artist? why not start selling photo pictures. One of the sites that buys a stock of photography is iStockPhoto. Just don't forget to keep your privacy.

13. Video marketing.

If you hang a lot of time watching youtube videos or any other video sites then you might probably notice advertising on those videos or sells a product. Just like if you watch a kobe bryant videos, then products from Nike might appear. The more views you have the higher chances of earning big bucks. If you have a video that you think could go viral, then upload, you might just earn from it.

14. Forum posting.

One of the hardest part of running a forum is at the start. At first it looks dead and no one seems to be talking. Webmasters' solution for that is is paid forum posting. All you have to do is start making some noise on that forum site. It could be fun for some, especially if it is about politics debate, or an anime forum.

15. Graphic Design.

Do you love creating beautiful graphics, then try graphic design services. A lot of webmasters are looking for graphic designers. A simple logo would cost as much as $50- 100. Most designers use Adobe Photoshop, if you can't afford, try Gimp. Its free.

16. Play Online games.

Yes, you can actually make money while playing online games. There are many ways you could earn, you can do selling, trading, gold mining and many other.
