how to earn money with fiverr

If you have talent, resource, and skills that is very competitive, then you should try Fiverr.com. This website is for entrepreneurs and freelancers who are willing to sell their service starting at $5.

The website was founded by Israeli internet entrepreneurs Micha Kaufman and Shai Wininger. Fiverr is based on the idea that 9 to 5 is not the obvious work structure for everyone. In a world where working with freelancers, outsourcing projects and working off-site is sought after, people are looking for new ways to achieve financial independence on their own terms.

Today, Fiverr hosts micro-entrepreneurs in more than 200 countries, Fiverr provides a "living marketplace" where people can monetize their skills, talents and resources. Gigs offered on the site range from web design, logo creation and market research, to personal greetings, video animation and personalized gifts.

How to Earn Money with Fiverr

If you're looking how to make money on fiverr then you must realize you are one of many. People are often cautiousness about buying a service they have not bought before. However if someone has bought your service the odds can be much greater of getting another sale from them. You can however increase the odds if you follow these tips.

1. Be polite.
This is very important since polite sellers get good reviews and no one is going to buy your service again if you were less then enchanting. You need to be polite and willing to answer a few questions.

2.Be personalized.
Why would someone buy your same ebook twice? If you can make it personalized to your buyer it might take more time for your gigs but you drastically increase the odds getting more money from your customers.

3.Reviews.
Reviews are everything no one wants to be the first to buy your service since they are taking a risk on the quality however if you do something to get your first customers to write good reviews you'll get some more business so what i do sometimes if offer another mini service included for the first 5 buyers to entice customers. Also they are often grateful enough to right a good review.

Fiverr Mistakes That You Shouldn't Do

  1. They go after the same niche as everyone else how many gigs are there for seo and for making video testimonials If you’re going to approach the same niche as everyone else you’ll have to make it your own and unique.
  2. Not personalizing what you give buyers. Many people often use a template to quickly get gigs done. The problem with this is they often get no repeat customers and rarely positive reviews.
  3. Not offering multiple services putting all your eggs in one basket can often led to poor sales.
  4. Poorly written descriptions. Descriptions are how a buyer chooses what service to get so if your description is full of spelling errors and you are offering to write for them do you think they’ll take it?
  5. Not taking advantage of tags. Tags are how people interested in your service find it. So by not using enough or choosing poor ones you are hurting how many people who might buy your service are seeing it
  6. Poor image choices your picture should have everything you are trying to display visible in its thumbnail form. Your thumbnail should never carry a long description of you service or make it seem like you are offering a different service.
  7. Lies you should never lie about the services you are offering and this includes exaggerating greatly. Once people who about your service poorly review it then the likelihood of someone buying it greatly decreases.
  8. Giving up early. Many people post three gigs wait two days and then give up the site forever. It will take time before you start getting tons and tons orders be patient it will be worth it.
  9. One fiverr tip I wish people would take is be willing to talk to the customer. Talk to them step by step to ensure they are getting what they want so you don’t have to redo everything or give them a poorly done job version of what they want.
  10. Make your job something worth it for you. Sure if you offer to write a book for your customer you would get tons of orders but remember you are only getting paid 4 dollars (fiverr takes one dollar).

10 Online Marketing Myths You Should Know

/ Monday, October 29, 2012 /

10 online marketing mythsYou probably have read it or seen on the Internet people making big bucks online. They are earning huge amount of money compared to regular jobs. And that is probably one of the main reason a lot of people are into Online Marketing.

Thousands of people everyday are trying to make money online, but most of them failed miserably  because they know little or none about online marketing.

The talks about becoming a millionaire at home is very promising, in which I will admit is one of the reasons I was attracted to enter Internet Marketing, because I wanted to get rich quick. But I was wrong, I did a lot of mistakes, got scammed, wasted my time a lot. On the brighter side it was a learning experience and maybe a blessing in disguise. My past failures will be my weapon to avoid future mistakes.

Even though it was just an accident that lead me here, I learned how to love this kind of hobby. And now it makes money, still small but it doesn't matter, having fun is my main reasons of doing it.

Now, I will share you my 10 online marketing myths.

Myth#1. Online marketing is EASY.

This is the biggest myth of all. Most of my past article I always stated and repeated that this is not easy. Becoming successful online takes a lot of hard work, patience, strategic thinking, commitment and a bit of luck.

Myth#2. Anyone can make money online.

This is absolutely untrue! This is not for everyone, lazy people are not allowed in here. If you hate reading, this is not for you, if you don't want to learn everyday then don't do it.

Myth#3. Doing online marketing is free.

There are many freebies on the Internet which will help you get started. The freebies could be free blogging service, free SEO optimization  free templates etc. But serious online marketers spend a lot of money on advertisements, SEO service, site domain, blog templates, and more. You will also spend money on Internet connection and electricity.

Myth#4. You can "GET RICH QUICK" on the Internet.

There is no such thing as getting rich quick. These kind of marketing strategies are often used by scam sites, don't fall for it.
"Nothing beats hard work and manual labor"- God (Morgan Freeman) in Bruce Almighty

Myth#5. Working online is expensive.

The truth is, its the other way around. If you want to enter online marketing there are a lot of free stuff and resources you can get on the net You can also look for free seminars online. The only investment you need is time, and a lot of effort.

Myth#6. Its TOO LATE to start an online business.

I was like that before, and said to myself " its too late now, I should have done this 10 years ago, too many competitions, the Internet changes all the time, I should have this and that, etc..."

The truth is, it is never too late to start a business on the Internet. Based on statistics more and more people are into online shopping, and also more and more people are into online services. Why worry about competitions, the Internet is for everyone. If you are persistent to succeed, I am sure you will find ways to beat your competitors.

Myth#7. You will have a LOT of time working at home.

I believe in this 3 years ago, but it is actually a not true!. Doing an online business is hard work, even you are at the comfort of your own home, you will still have a hard time doing other stuff like watching TV. Unless if you are not that serious, I guess you have a lot of time.

In my situation I spend about 5- 8 hours a day on the Internet. Most of the time were spent reading, learning, and brainstorming, the other is for writing.

Myth# 8. Having a professional design is not important.

The truth is, design is very important. If you are serious about creating a brand name, you should put a professionals touch on your website. Ugly looking sites cannot attract potential customers, a sites design is what he see first if it is interesting or not.

Myth# 9. Saturated niches are no longer profitable.

This is only true if you do not know what you are doing.

Lets put it this way, why is a lot of people are still into the fast food industry where it is already saturated by big fast food chains? why do you compete even if you know that field is already saturated?

The main reason is probably, because it is STILL profitable!. Even you know you are competing against big and established brands, you know that you could still make a profit out of it. A good business man sees competition as spark to improve its service.

Myth#10. If you build it, they will come.

Do you know if you build a website, and don't tell anyone about it? Nothing will happen. But If you do something, something will happen.

Promoting and letting people know you exist online is very important in online marketing. That is why we need to learn how to use social networking sites and SEO for you to be visible on the Internet.

Another effective way is through paid advertising, yes it costs money, because if you are really serious about it, then spend time and money because it is STILL business.

How to Make Money on eBay and Sell More

/ Friday, October 26, 2012 /

earn money on ebay

As a customer, it is not just the product that attracts me on buying, it is also the experience on doing it and today most people are into online shopping, because it is fast and you can find more cheaper items on the Internet.

The Internet has a lot of online stores and eBay sellers and becoming a very successful seller online seems to be a tough competition.

eBay is one of the most popular online marketplace in the world, and you can actually make a lot of money here just like Jack Sheng.

Here are tips on how to make money on eBay.

1. Don’t compete with yourself.

Minimize your competition by staggering your auction selling times, so that your own auctions are not competing with each other. Think of supply and demand. Too many listings for the same product drive the price of that product down. By staggering your listing times you are able to reach more customers and potentially earn higher winning bids for your auctions. End auctions on separate days; this will enable buyers to bid on your auctions in the event that they either lost the auction, or forgot to bid while watching the listing.

Want to sell more? List one of each type of product as a Buy It Now with a reasonably high set price. This practice benefits you two-fold. First, a buyer that doesn’t want to wait for an auction to end doesn’t have to – they can buy it now. Second, by using a reasonably high price for the buy it now price point you are setting the bar for what that product is worth. If a customer happens to win the product through one your auctions listings for less, than they will feel that they got a great deal. Who doesn’t love a deal?

2. Select an appropriate starting price.

Choosing a starting price is a little tricky. If you start your item too high then you might not get any bids; however, if your auction starting price is too low – and stays low—you cheat yourself out of a reasonable selling price. The best way to handle selecting an appropriate starting price is to research the market. Examine other auctions to determine what price the product has been selling at; look at current auctions to see what price point the product is earning. Use these figures to determine a reasonable starting price for your auction.

3. Avoid keyword spamming.

What is keyword spamming? First let us take a look at keywords. Keywords are important; they are what connect buyers to sellers. Buyers enter words as search terms; those words are called keywords. When the keywords in a search match your auction, then your listing appears in the buyer’s results. As a seller, you want your auction to reach as many potential buyers as possible. The temptation to add as many keywords as possible is overwhelming to some sellers; so much that they add irrelevant keywords just to increase the exposure of their auctions. Adding irrelevant keywords to an auction is known as keyword spamming.

What harm can keyword spamming cause? Keyword spamming is not helpful to buyers or sellers. Keyword spamming wastes time. Buyers search for a specific type of item. When a buyer clicks on an auction with the keywords “iPod Nano” only to find out that the auction is for a cell phone, he is going to be frustrated. With hundreds or thousands of search results, who has time to read irrelevant listings?

Keyword spamming makes selling difficult. In the example above, the seller who listed the cell phone as an iPod Nano makes selling iPod Nanos harder. Buyers must weed through more auctions than necessary to find what they are looking for; some buyers give up after wasting too much time reading unwanted auctions.

Keyword spamming gets my auction more exposure, so why not do it? Fortunately, eBay has started cracking down on keyword spammers. Notorious keyword spammers are often banned from selling on eBay. Good riddance!

4. Create interesting and appealing auctions.

Buyers shop visually. Buyers want to see what the product looks like, and prefer to bid on auctions with appealing listings. What makes an auction appealing? Think about auctions that you have bid on. Most sellers were buyers first. What characteristics do the auctions you have bid on share? They probably have a photo. Pictures are a must! Rarely do buyers bid on an auction without a picture. Even a blurry, out-of-focus photo is better than no picture. Of course, well-lit, sharp, close-up pictures are the most informative and appealing.

Auctions listings should be easy to read and to understand. Written content should be informative, honest, and use correct spelling. Too many misspelled words lead buyers to believe that either the seller is not a professional and doesn’t care much about his auctions, or is just too lazy to worry about it. If a seller is too lazy to create quality auctions, what else will he skimp on? Most buyers won’t want to find out.

Backgrounds should be simple, professional, and easy on the eyes. Animated graphics, cluttered backgrounds, and clashing colors should be avoided. It really does make a difference! Buyers find too much animation distracting, and cluttered backgrounds annoying. Clashing colors can make content difficult to read. Style your listings carefully. Consider your listing from a buyer’s point of view. Would you bid on your auction?

5. Accept more than one form of payment.

Make paying easy for buyers. The more forms of payment you accept, the easier it is for a buyer to pay you. Have you ever noticed how auctions that state “PayPal only” or “money orders only” get fewer bids? Well, they do. In fact, I have been able to purchase quite a few products from these types of auctions. The seller’s loss was my gain. Don’t fall into that trap. There is not one form of payment that is always better. Accommodate as many buyers as possible by accepting a wide range of payment types.

6. Keep your auction title consistent with listing content.

The product mentioned in your eBay title should be the same one listed in your auction listing. If you are selling an iPod Nano in your title, then the listing should be for an iPod Nano – not just iPod accessory. If you are selling an iPod accessory, say so in the auction’s title. Stay consistent throughout your auction to avoid confusion and disappointment. Auctions that are contradictory in nature are avoided by most buyers.

7. Feedback matters.

A high percentage of positive feedback is important to buyers. The better the feedback, the more trusted the seller is in most buyers’ eyes. Unfortunately, some conflicts will arise throughout your selling career. What should you do? Remain a professional. Remember that customers are valuable. Your goal should be to make your customer happy -- within reason, of course. Listen to the customer’s problem. Seek out an appropriate solution that makes you both happy. If you come across a terribly disgruntled customer, it may be worthwhile to take a small loss and move on with your perfect feedback intact.

You can do a few things to avoid unnecessary conflicts:
  • Be precise in your auction. Say exactly what you mean; state the facts.
  • Include shipping, return, payment, and feedback policies, if you have them, to avoid confusion and disappointment.
  • Treat your customers with respect; without them you would be out of business.
The more feedback you have, the better. If you are new to eBay, you might consider winning some auctions yourself to build feedback. Being a buyer also gives you the chance to determine what works, and what doesn't  for other sellers.

                                                                                  [source: Lily O'Halloran ]

Here is More!

  • Do not underestimate the power of free shipping. I am not a seller on eBay but I am a customer. In purchasing items I usually look at those with free shipping, sometimes I don't care about the price it is the free shipping that matters.
  • Don't ignore your existing customer base. Each customer is very valuable, don't ignore them and put them on your mail list. Make sure you say hi to them once a week. Make your email campaigns personal & make sure it is targeted  A great idea here would be to base it on a recent purchase – if customer X bought a Cellphone, offer them limited edition cellphone accessories, an extra battery or both.
  • Promote on social Networking sites. Almost everyone is on facebook, so why not use it. Social Networking sites is a great place to promote your business. Try posting updates, discounts on your Facebook, Twitter, and You tube account.

Earn Money with oDesk- How to get your first job

odesk for beginners

I think it was April of this year that a friend talked to me about a job online, he refers to me at oDesk.com. At first I was excited, because there a lot of job offer online, I said to myself " these jobs seems easy, I can do it!". After applying for different jobs like typing and writing, none seems to be interested in me. I reapplied again and again, but no luck.

I think I am qualified for most jobs, but what did I do wrong?

Lately I learned that most companies are looking for experienced and reputed freelancers. They want veterans with at least 100 oDesk hours.

So unfair, what about those new contractors. How can we get our first job?

At first I though it was easy getting a job in there. But before you get hired, you need to show your skills, talents, the commitment to work, because it is a competition out there. It is like American Idol, you show people you can sing, then judges will give you a feedback and the American people will decide who gets the title or who goes home.

After writing my previous article, I decided to give oDesk a shot once again, followed all the necessary requirements, and read all the tips. Then, I got an email that they approved my application to become one of their writers! Oh yeah, one point! I got hired for the first time.

If  you are a new freelancer, I got here tips to get your first job at oDesk.
  • Complete your Profile and Make it Interesting. Completing your profile carefully will maybe took you two hours. If you are having trouble how to do it, you can always look at other successful freelancers profile. Just don't try copying their profile details.
  • Take many oDesk skill test as much as possible. If you logged in into your account, you can see a skill test provided, and take as many as you can and make sure you have a high score. A high score on skill tests attracts employers, believe me.
  • Make portfolio samples for every service you offered in your skill or objective section. You should upload screenshots or PDFs of your work example link, name them as your service you focused in. Also please write a short but informative description for each.
  • Do not overcharge. As the new kid on the block you should not overcharge because you haven't proved anything yet about your service. No employers will give you $20 per hour if you are a newbie. For starters, $1 per hour will do, you can increase your talent fee later on, but make sure your price is very reasonable for the job if you're going to increase it.
  • Choose and bid jobs that is best for you. If you don't know a job offer, don't bid for it. Choose jobs that you are good at. Also, do not bid on random jobs because many clients may think that you are not serious with your job application.
  • A blog will help. If you are into writing, then having a blog might help you to get hired. Make sure it is in your profile, show your clients you can write by putting the link of your blog on your profile.
  • Time is gold. For employers it is very important that you can reply to them immediately. If you can check your email anytime then do it. Being quick to response is a plus factor for you to get hired.
  • Always analyze the job description on which you are going to bid. Make sure you fully understood the job you are bidding. Knowing the job description will give you a hint on what are you going to do.
  • Write your cover letter as project requirements. Always, you should read full project description and then make your cover letter as required information for this project. Never write a duplicated or common cover latter which does not describe these jobs instructions but your skill. Clients see what you've written about his project and are you able to understand the job or not.
Experienced and Skilled contractors were once beginners just like you. So don't feel left behind, because everyday, there are a lot of newbies getting their first job and these tips just might help.

If you get hired on oDesk please tell me, and if you are a veteran kindly share me your secrets and I will share it to others who just might need help.

Cheers!

Have a great day!

Get Rich Quick- It Doesn't Exist!

/ Sunday, October 21, 2012 /

Good day friends, today I am going to discuss to you that "get rich quick doesn't exist" unless you won the lottery of course.

If you surf a lot on the Internet you probably heard of advertisements saying "get rich why you sleep" something like that, they are on your Email, blog advertisements, anywhere you can think of, there are a lot of sites claiming you could become rich quick in an instant.  The catch is, you just pay, $5- to $100 to avail their VIP membership, and you just sit there and they will do all the work and booom! you are RICH!

If you fall for these kind of scam, then you must be an idiot! because there is no such thing as easy money, especially on the Internet.  Most of the stuff you see about getting rich online is 99% bogus and will not work.

I have a sample of a get rich quick scam site.

DollarPTR is a scam site, and promises huge bucks for those who will sign up and click on their ads.

If you visit their website you will be amazed of the high paying commission they promises to give you. For free members you will get a $500 DOLLARS sign up bonus! All emails are worth $100 DOLLARS! 50% referral earnings! wow!!! this crap sounds too good to be true. But you have to reach $25,000 to cash out your commissions.

How to spot a scam site? Click here

There is more. If you join their membership and PAY, all of the earnings of a free member will be almost doubled! sounds tempting eh!? No minimum pay outs, free laptops, $200 worth of emails, and $100 DOLLAR PER CLICK on their ads!

And they guarantee fast and legal payouts... bulls***!! This site has tricked me once, the good thing is, I didn't spend a single cent on this scam site. I have reached their minimum payout but they didn't pay me, I tried to email them but no response. I was such an idiot, hehehe

What is the most effective Ways to earn online?

I am not an Internet marketing guru, but based on my experience for the past three years I can say Blogging is the most effective because it paves way to more income opportunities on the web just like affiliate marketing and selling products. But this is not a get rich quick job! It will take a lot of effort, time, and commitment to finally get what you wanted.

If you wanted to earn on the Internet, you should ignore all of those get rich quick sites, because they are just bogus and a waste of time. Start blogging instead.

Just remember if it is too good to be true then it must be fake

Before you start, I have question... Do you have what it takes to become a blogger?

Cheers

Have a nice day!

Dustin

The Fastest Way To Have Many Twitter Followers

/ /
fast way to get many twitter followers
Twiends is the fastest way to have many Twitter followers and it is 100% absolutely free! Although you can buy more seeds for more followers, for me it is worth the cost.

What is Twiends?

Twiend’s is a 100% free service that can help you grow your Twitter network. After signing up to the service through your Twitter account you are able to search directories of users’ by interests and geographic location to find new people to follow. In return you are rewarded a number of ‘seeds’ (which the user sets, usually 2-9). These seeds are then offered to the Twiend’s community in return for following you. The number of ‘seeds’ that you offer is determined in your settings.

The Concept behind Twiends.

The basic concept behind Twiends is pretty good. and very simple. You follow someone in return for so many "seeds" (usually between 1 and 9). The seeds that you gain can be used to gain followers. I was very impressed with how fast my follower count grew in just a few hours.

Drawbacks.

The major drawbacks in Twiends is that when someone follows you, someone  will unfollow you later. But you can use a setting in your account that only those who has low drop rate can follow you, so lesser seeds will be wasted.

Even there are a lot of unfollowers it is still very useful for you to get noticed on Twitter and having a large following gives you, strangely, credibility. People look at you as being influential and known whereas what you are really doing is just trying to punch above you weight.

If you don't have budget on buying more seeds, you can apply to become one of their writers in exchange for 5000- 50,000 seeds and that is a lot!

Overall, I would say that using Twiends is worthwhile. For a start you can get 10 seeds (at most 5 followers) simply for logging in so if nothing else this is worth doing. It is a good way to get started and let people know you have arrived on the Twitter scene.

Quotes of Success from Successful People

Being an entrepreneur is hard, because we are doing what is not common to other people. Usually entrepreneurs see things small BIG, just like a pencil, for a some its just a pencil, for an entrepreneur it could be more, and he/she will find a way to make it extra ordinary.

I remember a story about Steve Jobs, someone has told him a Personal Computer was a bad idea, you know what? He didn't listen, because he knows in the back of his head that Personal Computers are the Future.

Walt Disney the famous creator of Mickey, Donald and Goofy. Did you know when he was about to create Disney Land no Bank has lended him money on the first place, because critics say a theme park is just a waste of time, because adults are not into it. Besides being rejected by many, Mr. Disney still continued his dream and created one of the most amazing theme parks in the world.

If you are feeling burned out and ready to quit, I have here quotes of success to fuel your perseverance tank.

Ways to cheat Adsense

/ Tuesday, October 16, 2012 /

Google Adsense is probably the most effective way to earn for publishers and webmasters online. They earn when a visitors clicks on an ads which he or she thinks will be useful to him/her. Before Google accepts your site, you got to make your site adsense ready. If you still don't have adsense as a way to make money for your site click here.

There are people claiming they can cheat the system.

To earn faster, is one of the reasons there are a lot of people risks their Google Adsense account from being banned to do some dirty tricks.

There’s one thing you must know before you start thinking of ways to cheat google – they know already you will try to cheat and they are prepared for you! I never advise people to venture into any kind of dubious adsense revenue boosting scheme as they backfire in most cases.

I have seen in forums claiming they are successful on cheating Google, and these are the techniques they usually use to cheat Google, so avoid them.

1. Basic Clicker

This person is not really that knowledgeable about web technology . They usually click their own ads because most of them have not read the Google Adsense terms and conditions. They are those people looking for help on forums and saying "why Google banned my account? I didn't do anything!?".

2. Proxy Clicker Cheat

These guys knows a bit about the web, IP address and Cookies. To hide their dirty work they use IP hider or Cookie crumbler, to get away from clicking their own ads.

3. Multiple Computer Cheat or Beg to click

They think they are smarter and can get away cheating Google. They don't want to risk clicking on their own ads so they ask their family, friends, neighbors, co- workers to do their dirty work. Even though they think this might work, Google can still detect them, they can track if those clicks came from the same city.

4. Paid Clicker

This person pays a certain amount of money per month to professional Adsense clickers. These are surfers hidden in far countries like China and India, they are paid to click on your ads per minute. They also sign up for the advertisers offers and newsletter just to make it not suspicious.

5. Software Clicker Cheat

These guys are buyers of clickbots. It is a specialized robot software that clicks on Adsense ads. It also browses around your site and click ads every few minutes.

Never use any sort of automated tool to inflate your page views or click on your ads. This is click fraud of the highest order, and Google is very sophisticated at catching this. This is a trick that can easily get you banned.

Likewise, don't use human-powered schemes to pay for clicks, either. No trading clicks with other AdSense users, and no pay-for-clicking schemes. If advertisers wanted to pay people for clicking, they would have signed up for it themselves.

6. The Visitor Cheat

These cheat is very old, all you have to do is put on "visit our sponsor" or "click our ads" near your adsense ads. Tricking visitors to click on your ads are not allowed by Google.

7. Using Other Medium Cheat

These cheaters are really good with computers. They create freebies like toolbars or firefox extension free to download. Of course their adsense ads are hidden in the click so they could benefit from your downloads and clicks.

8. Spamming

One of the oldest trick in the book. This kind of cheater will spam your emails. It has titles that are too good to be true just like "earn $100 in an hour, click here to know how" to click on their ads.

9. Don't Tell People How Much you Earn.

Google is very picky about how much you disclose about how AdSense works. They don't let you tell people how much you were paid per keyword, because this could jeopardize revenue from AdWords advertisers. Beware of anyone who offers to sell you this information.

10. CTR cheat

This is the super 'smart' cheater. They know that if the CTR exceeds a certain percentage it raises a red flag with Google. Therefore they design a few pages that will bring in super high traffic like offering freebies. They use these pages to lower their CTR by having more page impressions.

I guess in every job there are always someone who is a cheater. Tricking Google is not a good idea for easy money, they may not be perfect, but I believe they can catch you.

I have been caught once because I didn't read the policy, but thank goodness they lift me from getting banned. If you have a very low earning on adsense, try working on your traffic, it will be a big help.

Google adsense is not a get rich quick scheme, this is just like any other business or job, you have to work very hard to achieve what you desire . If your primary aim for starting a blog is to make money, you will be disappointed in the first few months and abandon the whole dream. It takes some patience and hard work to reach your desired earning level.

Career That Pay You to Travel the World

/ Monday, October 15, 2012 /
Is office work starts to bore you? Are you tired of the same routine everyday? Do you love to travel and experience different cultures`?

Most of us wanted that, because man are born travelers. But you don't have a choice because it is your job, and if you don't work you can't pay your bills.

What if there is a career that pay you to travel the world.

Awesome, right!?

There are a lot of jobs in the world that will give you the benefits of travelling and earning at the same time. Here are some of it:

1. Become a travel writer.

Have you watched Discovery Channel or Nat geo? do you see these writers travel almost every episode, and it looks like they are having fun doing it.
One of my favorite show Nat Geo is called "don't tell my mother" it is about a dude that travels to different countries that are dangerous just like Nigeria or Iraq. Although his job is dangerous, I really wanted to become like him, and I said to myself "Oh s*t! I would love to do that!"

Travel writers are exciting and challenging. Sometimes they become a mini-celebrities in their own right. If you are a passionate travel writer and got some good connections, then maybe you could have your very own travel show.

2. Become an English Teacher.

Demand on English teachers are high especially in countries like South Korea, Japan and China. In fact, working as an English teacher is usually the most common way for native-English speakers to travel through Japan and China. Not only is the pay good, but you also get to meet and interact with people from an entirely different culture.

Most English teachers are required with a Bachelors Degree in English or Education. Those with master's degree usually gets paid higher.

3. Work on a cruise ship.

Because a cruise ship is like a floating city, they usually employs thousands of people from different professions like IT staff, service staff, musicians, managers, customer service, chefs, mechanics, sailors...the list goes on.

Jobs on cruise ships pay well and you get to travel to exotic destinations. The only downside is that you get to be surrounded by water in sun-kisssed beach islands all the time!

Do you want a job on a cruise ship? check this website cruisejobfinder.com.

4. Work as a Tour Guide.

If you love adventure, action and working with other people, then maybe you should consider becoming a tour guide.  If there are certain destinations and activities that you are passionate and knowledgeable about, then becoming a tour guide can allow you to see and explore the world and get paid for it.

There are training schools you need to attend first to become a tour guide, you can contact your local government for more information.

The most important traits a tour guide must have are people skills, enthusiasm, and knowledge of the area you want to lead tours in. Being bi or multi-lingual makes you extremely appealing, so if you speak more than one language, your opportunities skyrocket. If you have many interests, consider freelancing to maximize your expertise and money-making abilities. The pay isn't always the greatest, but keep in mind that many tour guides receive tips, so the better you are, the more you make.

To know more about tour guiding check this website bepaidtotravel.com/

5. Commercial Airline Pilot.

Commercial Airline Pilot are one of the best career that pay you to travel the world. They enjoy high paying salary and the luxury to travel.

It may be a glamorous job, but being a pilot is not easy. It will take many years to become a licensed pilot. One of the advantage is that commercial plane pilots is an in-demand job because many pilots are now getting old.

6. Travel Nurses.

Just like certified teachers, certified nurses also have the opportunity to travel while still pursuing their careers. Medical care is one of the few professions which hasn’t been terribly affected by the recession, so travel nurses remain in high demand. If you are already a nurse and looking for a new experience that can also benefit your career, then consider becoming a travel nurse. You can learn new practices and practice in a variety of clinical settings, all the while getting paid well (while staying in free housing) and having the opportunity to experience a completely new culture.

If you like to become one, check this out travelnursing.com

7. Become an Au Pair.

This job is usually for younger people ages 18-27. Becoming an au pair in a foreign country is a great way to travel, experience another culture, and learn a new language, all the while being paid to do so.

Au Pairs usually move into a family’s home to take care of children and pitch in on the housework. In exchange, the au pair typically gets paid a small stipend, receives free room and board, and some form of education, usually language classes. It’s a great immersion program for young people and can be a great experience. Like travel nursing, there are a great amount of agencies assisting in the placement of au pairs, so make sure you do the necessary research.

8. Be a Peace Corps Volunteer.

Another way to travel the world, get paid and make a difference is by joining the peace corps. This is not easy, and this is not glamorous because you are a volunteer to make other peoples lives better.

It may not be fun, but it is fulfilling and will change your life. But before you decide joining the peace corps, think about it a hundred of times and answer this question to yourself, are you sure you have what it takes to make sacrifices and can you change the world?

9. Become a Digital Nomad.

Digital Nomad is being able to live and travel while still working is gaining major steam, so if you have any skills that can be done solely online, then think of ways to make that into a business.

Many web designers, writers, artists, photographers, and consultants are making the move to a nomadic lifestyle because they can. If you can work with clients from developed countries throughout North American, Europe, and Australia/New Zealand, get paid in your home currency, but live and/or travel throughout developing countries and regions, then you can save a ton while still working and experiencing the world.

Becoming a digital nomad is the future. It allows you to do what you love, see the world, and actually make a living wage doing so.

Marketing is King in Blogging

/ Friday, October 12, 2012 /

Do you spend a lot of time creating quality articles? Do you have posts that you feel will become viral and trending in the blogosphere. But, even you put your heart and soul to your writing, nobody seems to care. And it depresses you and even quit writing because nobody gives a sh*t about what you are doing.

I have been reading a lot of blogs for the past 3 years, I found some blogs worth reading but it seems nobody knows it existed. I also compares and check their alexa ranks.

To my surprise there are high quality blogs that ranks very low and their are some ugly looking blogs with high alexa ranks but with poor quality contents. There are even blogs having tons of visitors even if it is only made by copy and pasting articles from different websites.

And I said to myself I though quality is King!?

Yeah quality is very important, but it should not be on your priority number 1 list when it comes to blogging. To become successful on the internet, we should do what just like business men do. Focusing on marketing!

Marketing is King! but why marketing?

Lets make it simple. I have cases here

1. Mcdonalds vs Kandingan ni Apo Lakay.

Everyone knows Mcdonalds as the number 1 fast food chain in the world. They are known for their burgers and fries. When we ask a kid what is Mcdonalds he or she already knows what it is about. And how about Kandingan ni Apo lakay, have anyone heard of it before, I think none.

But when it comes to tasting food, KnAL tops Mcdonalds, you bet! their caldereta is far superior than those expensive burgers from Mcdonalds.

Why Mcdonalds beat everyone in the fast food business? it is plain simple, ADVERTISING!

2. Coca Cola vs Pepsi.

Ever since the 1970's, Pepsi have this "Pepsi Challenge" where they put two empty cups with Pepsi and the other cup is Coke. They do it on malls for bystanders to taste.

And the winner... is Pepsi

But why Coke is number 1, its because of ADVERTISING!

One of the advertising success of Coca Cola is using Santa as the model for their ad campaign and it was very successful, because everyone knows Santa Clause, if he drinks Coke then everyone will too.

Pepsi had some advertising success by using artists like Britnery Spears for ad commercial, but lets face it, Santa is still more popular than Britney.

3. My first blog vs this blog.

When I first started blogging, I don't know what is quality content, the only thing I know is you design a blog and then you promote it, and that's exactly what I did.

During my first year blogging it was experimental, but educational. I did a lot of promoting on my blog to many traffic exchange sites like trafficadbar and easyhits4u.com, exchanging links, joining forums etc. And the result was superb, it increases my alexa rank by 870% in just 2 months. It has high ranking but only about 4 out of 10 quality written article, and it has no specific niche.

Now, what about this new blog site. It is still kinda new and has a specific niche but still low on rankings, mainly because I haven't done any marketing strategy for the past 2 months. I did that on purpose to see if quality alone can climb you to the top of the blogging world.

It is like an experiment on which is king, quality or advertising. Based on my experience on my two different blogs, I say MARKETING is KING!

Content is just a part of Marketing.

So in conclusion, skills are not necessary for a successful blogging career. You just need to learn how to market yourselves.

Just like the iPhone, based on experts it is not the best phone available in the market today. But why it sells a lot even if it is expensive compared to cheaper yet more practical phones, it is because of ADVERTISING! you bet!
